Application Process & Calendar
Incoming 9th Graders for Fall 2013

Attend the HNA Fall Open House (on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, noon-3 p.m.) and/or Winter Open House (on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 6:30-8:30 p.m.). Attending an open house is optional but recommended.

Schedule a Campus Visit at HNA (optional).

Register for and complete the Scholarship/Placement Exam (Make-up exam date: January 12, 2013)

Complete the Student Application for Admission and return it to HNA with your Application Fee of $25.

Submit the Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form to your current teacher. Ask him/her to complete the form and forward it directly to Holy Names Academy. NOTE: This is a common form used by several Seattle-area Catholic high schools and may be photocopied for multiple use.

Submit the Confidential School Report/Transcript Request to your current principal. Ask him/her to complete the form and forward it directly to Holy Names Academy. NOTE: This is a common form used by several Seattle-area Catholic high schools and may be photocopied for multiple use.
In addition, your principal should forward directly to HNA a copy of the following:

Official transcript/permanent record
-
Standardized test scores from current/previous years
-
Report cards from the preceding two years
-
Grades/progress reports from the current year
Transfer Students
The admissions process for transfer students is the same as for incoming 9th graders (see above). However, transfer students are notified of acceptance in late April. Applicants for the 10th grade are required to take the Scholarship/Placement Exam. Applicants to enter in grades 11 or 12 are not required to take the Scholarship/Placement Exam, but must include their most recent standardized exam scores with their application.
