Leadership

A Community Designed for Girls to Lead
At Holy Names Academy, girls don't compete with boys for leadership opportunities. Every class officer, club president, homeroom rep, ambassador, recruiter, peer mentor, and more is a young woman. This all-girl environment creates countless opportunities for students to practice leadership, take initiative, and build the skills they'll carry into college, careers, and their communities. At HNA, every girl can see herself as a leader because every student leader she sees is a girl.

Co-Class Presidents
Students in each grade elect two Co-Class Presidents to lead their Class Board, which is made up of the ASB, CMC, MSU and SNS representatives from their grade level. Co-Class Presidents oversee events for their grade, order class merchandise, and encourage class spirit!

Ambassadors
Ambassadors represent the school at our public functions. Chosen for their interpersonal skills, they host school events and promote HNA traditions.
Team Captains
Team Captains model the values and culture of HNA Athletics and serve as the liaison between student-athletes and coaching staff. They lead by example both on and off the courts, fields, and water.
