Accreditation Site Visit by the Northwest Association of Independent Schools
Holy Names Academy is accredited by the Northwest Association of Independent Schools. Every eight years, the Academy conducts an exhaustive self-study and hosts a subsequent site visit as part of this ongoing accreditation process. Accreditation is an objective validation of a school’s mission and program; it serves the purpose of providing colleges, prospective families, and other organizations the assurance that Holy Names Academy offers a quality education. During accreditation, every facet of the Academy is examined: academics, student services, co-curricular programs, governance, fiscal management, administrative practice, school plant, long-range planning, admissions, development, and health and safety.
From October 2 through 5, a team of educators visited HNA to conduct the on-site visit, the culmination of a two-year process of self-evaluation by the school’s faculty, staff, and trustees. HNA is grateful to the on-site visit team and looks forward to receiving its final report next year.
