Prayer for Ingraham High School

We are praying for Ingraham High School following yesterday’s tragic shooting. Many members of our community have connections to Ingraham. We are holding all those affected by this shooting close to our hearts. HNA shared this prayer at the start of school this morning:

Loving God,

We ask you to receive into your loving care all those affected by the shooting at Ingraham High School. Console the family members and friends affected by this tragedy. Grant your mercy to the shooter.

Turn our sadness into compassion.
Turn our tiredness into advocacy.
Turn our paralysis into the freedom to act.

Heal our hearts as we process this act of violence. Heal our nation from the pervasive culture of violence that permeates the news. Heal our world and empower us to be agents of change so that all may live in peace.
