Lacey London Named Metro League Athletic Director of the Year! Holy Names Academy

Holy Names Academy is proud to announce that Lacey London, HNA’s Athletic Director and current Metro League President, has been named the Metro League Athletic Director of the Year. This honor recognizes her outstanding leadership, vision, and deep commitment to student-athletes.

For two decades, London has shaped an athletics program at Holy Names Academy that gives young women room to push themselves and discover what they are capable of. Her leadership has strengthened HNA’s facilities and coaching staff, and she has fostered an environment where athletes feel confident pursuing their goals.

“Lacey’s leadership has lifted athletics at Holy Names Academy in meaningful and lasting ways,” said Head of School and Principal Kim Dawson. “She has an instinct for what students need to grow as athletes and as young women, and she has built a program that reflects that understanding. Her contributions to the Metro League further highlight her commitment to student-athletes across the greater Seattle area, and this recognition speaks to the impact she has had on our community.”

Lacey expressed her appreciation for the honor. “It’s a privilege to work with such dedicated coaches and exceptional student-athletes at Holy Names Academy,” she said. “Being part of an all-girls school allows us to focus closely on what helps young women succeed. On a larger scale, I am proud to represent our community and model our SNJM values as I serve as the President of the Metro League in the predominately male field of Athletic Administration. I work to create a positive community, shaping student athletes into confident leaders here at HNA and across the Metro League. I am deeply grateful for this recognition and proud of what we have created together at HNA and in the Metro League.”
