To support Holy Names Academy student athletes in preparation for, and participation in, all levels of competition, HNA is pleased to offer a variety of on-site athletic training services with our Certified Athletic Trainer. While registered for athletic programs, students are eligible to receive these services which support the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions and help students achieve their best athletic results.
Services provided:
1:1 injury evaluation.

Strength and Conditioning for HNA sport teams and summer lifting program.
Graston, cupping, and manual therapies if necessary.
Normatec, Theragun, and other myofascial release modalities.

Summer 2026 Strength & Conditioning Classes

HNA's Trainer Julia will once again be offering Strength and Conditioning classes to HNA students this summer. Students will be focusing on proper lifting mechanics, landing mechanics, confidence in the weight room, and meeting fellow students.
Note: Students must be registered in Final Forms and have a valid physical on file to participate. This is open to incoming 9th graders, 10th, 11th and 12th graders of the 2027 graduating class. HNA graduates may not attend. There is no participation fee. Here are the dates:
June 8: 3PM-4PM and 4PM-5PM (Strength and conditioning)
June 9-11: 12:30-1:30 and 1:30-2:30 (Strength and Conditioning)
All dates below are 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 for one hour each. (Strength ONLY)

Julia Olson is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer with over 10 years of experience, including six at HNA. She has worked at all levels of athletic participation including Division I athletics. Julia is Graston and cupping certified and holds a credential as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, which allows her to tailor unique rehabilitation exercises to your daughter’s injury and sport biomechanics. Julia achieved her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and a master’s degree in Sport in Exercise Science.
