Congratulations, HNA Gymnastics: State Champions “Three-peat”!

On Thursday night (February 21), Holy Names Academy gymnastics successfully defended the team’s WIAA 3A/2A State title at Sammamish High School in Bellevue against Washington's other top teams. Despite a few early falls in the vault event, the Cougars rallied to clinch HNA’s third consecutive State title—with a final score of 181.325. Head Coach Donny Gallegos and the HNA athletes knew what the team was capable of and gave their all in the beam, bars, and floor routines.

HNA gymnastics also won the State team title in 2017 and 2018. We are so proud seniors Elliana Beberness, Kaysa Lundberg, Maya McDonald, and Allison McGinnis as they are end their HNA careers with a third state title. Congratulations to Coach Gallegos and all the athletes and coaches. We are excited for the year to come and thrilled with the depth of our program.
