HNA MOCK TRIAL COMPETES AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

HNA MOCK TRIAL COMPETES AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

HNA’s Mock Trial is a law-based club where students create speeches, perform examination/portrayal of witnesses, introduce evidence, and argue objections. Tournaments are typically held in real courtrooms (county/state) and are overseen by a real judge or trained lawyer.

Each year, 24 teams from around Washington compete at the State Championship tournament in Olympia. This weekend, the HNA Mock Trial team secured an 8th place finish – the highest it has ever achieved!

In addition to placing in the Top 10, Anaiysaa received special recognition by winning the Outstanding Witness award. This award is given to one student in the entire tournament who truly embodies their character while on the witness stand. Anaiysaa is the first student at HNA to receive this distinction! Further recognition of student achievements is listed below. Way to go, Cougars!!
