UPCOMING EVENTS
- New Family Sports Information Night - Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in the HNA Gymnasium. No registration is required.
- Planning note: Tryouts for HNA fall sports—cheer, golf, soccer, volleyball, swim and dive (no-cut), crew, and cross country (no-cut)—are Monday–Friday, August 24–28. Athletes must be present the entire week of tryouts.
- Class of 2030 Bowling Party - Sunday, April 26 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at West Seattle Bowl. The $15 registration fee includes bowling, snacks, and shoe rental. Registration is open - click here.
Parents are invited to join members of the HNA Parent Board for an informal gathering at Husky Deli, 4721 California Ave SW. RSVP here. - New Parent Orientation - Tuesday, May 5 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at HNA. No registration required.
- Summer Camps - Every summer, HNA hosts a series of summer camps, many of which are open to incoming HNA 9th-graders. Learn more and register - click here.
- Optional Digital Device Set-Up Sessions - Offered on August 6 and August 18 (choose one) from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Registration is open - click here.
- 9th-Grade Welcome - Friday, August 14 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Registration link coming soon.
- HNA & O'Dea 9th-Grade Family Picnic - Sunday, August 23 from 12:00 - 2:30 p.m., at Marymoor Park. Registration link coming soon.
- 9th Grade Orientation - Monday, August 24 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. First day of school for 9th grade & ID Pictures.
- Transfer Student Orientation - Monday, August 24 from 8:00 - 10 a.m.
- New Parent Welcome Coffee - Monday, August 24 at 7:30 a.m. - HNA campus north lawn.
- Half Days of School - Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26 - 12:30 dismissal.
- New Student/Parent Mass and Reception - Wednesday, August 26 at 6 p.m. in the HNA chapel
- First Full Day of School - Thursday, August 27 - early release day at 1:30 p.m.
- Parent Sports Meeting (for all sports) - Thursday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.
- Back to School Night (for all parents) - Thursday, September 3 at 6:00 p.m.

PARENT PORTAL
The HNA Parent Portal is a secure, parents-only section of HNA's website. In March, you will receive a postal-mailed letter containing the username and password to set up an account in the portal. One login is typically provided per family. Two logins are provided for two household families.
To log into the Parent Portal, go to the Portal Page. Under "First Time Signing In?" click "REGISTER." Enter your student's graduation year, the username, and the password in the letter we sent you in the mail.

TRANSPORTATION
Holy Names Academy draws students from 72 ZIP codes and 104 middle schools throughout the Greater Seattle area. Students use a variety of transportation methods, including carpooling, HNA’s morning shuttle program, public transportation, biking, and driving. Please visit our Transportation page for more information.
MORNING SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Holy Names Academy will once again offer Morning Shuttles on school-day mornings in the 2026-2027 school year. Families will receive an email on March 26 with program details and a registration link. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on that same day. Please review this Morning Shuttle Program Information Sheet. Seats on the buses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and some routes fill up quickly. Note that a waitlist option will be available on the registration page; the HNA Business Office will consider adding buses to a route if there is sufficient demand.

THE 2026-2027 HNA CARPOOL DIRECTORY
Each year, HNA publishes a directory of families interested in participating in carpools. The directory is organized by ZIP code and emailed to participating families in early June. If your family wishes to be included in the 2026-2027 HNA Carpool Directory, please complete this form. You may also email or call the Admissions Office: (206) 720-7805, admissions@holynames-sea.org. Families must sign up each school year to be included in the directory. The contact information in the Carpool Directory comes from the HNA registration database. If you would like a second address included, please list the name of the parent living at the second address. Families are responsible for making their own carpool arrangements.
