New Titles. Familiar Faces.

Holy Names Academy is thrilled to announce that starting with the 2026-2027 school year, Mrs. Kim Dawson will serve as Head of School/President, and Mrs. Marianne McGah will serve as Principal. In this model, which is used successfully by many Catholic schools, the President focuses on the overall vision and long-term direction of the school while the Principal leads the day-to-day operations of the school, working closely with teachers and students.

This shift is organizational and does not bring a change in the people leading our community. It is designed to more clearly align roles and responsibilities in support of our mission. The strong leadership you know and trust remains firmly in place. These title adjustments simply clarify responsibilities and strengthen our administrative model for the future. This refined structure will allow us to:

  • Strengthen long-term planning and mission-driven leadership.
  • Support daily academic life with greater clarity and effectiveness.
  • Ensure our leadership model continues to meet the evolving needs of students, families, faculty, and staff.

Our community is thriving because of the dedication of our educators, the partnership of our families, and the leadership team's deep commitment to our mission. This new leadership structure allows us to continue that good work with intention, stability, and sustainability.

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Dawson and Mrs. McGah, who bring many years of experience serving under the Dome, and are ready to shape HNA’s next chapter with heart, vision, and plenty of school spirit.
